I want to create Journal for Prepaid card account. [ Prepaid card is like credit card but card needs to be top up to use, we generally use it to for online purchases.]

For Example if top-up with USD 100 we can use this credit over internet. we need to keep account of this spending and top ups.

What type do i need to select in creating journal 1. Bank and Checks 2. General or any other?

We have installed account_transfer module also to transfer cash from Cash Journal to Prepaid Card Journal. Let me know if this will work?

I believe, you should create a journal of type expense if you consider it as discount, liability otherwise.

I consider this journal same as petty cash where in we withdraw cash from bank account (ex. -$500) put those in Prepaid card journal (+$500). Now suppose we purchase anything online (ex. worth -$45), It will remain (+$455) in Prepaid card account. \n How do you think should we implement this, Detailed description would be highly appreciated.
