When accessing the Link tracker menu in the Email marketing configuration, you can access the number of clicks.

1.

2.

Then, switching to the list view, each click provides some statistics and allows to open the recipient.

1.

2.

3.

This is a lot of clicks before accessing the contact, so this entry is to provide a faster workaround to see easily who clicked on the email or sms link.

1. We will create a new menu from the existing mailing.trace model called "Link recipients" (make sure the developer mode is active).

a.

b.

c.

d.

2. Making sure we refresh the page once that is done, we access the new menu

3. We create a new filter based on "Clicked On" is set, so that we see only the links that have been clicked and not any link that was sent. We already see the button to Open Recipient that is easily accessible.

a.

b.

4. We can also group by Mass Mailing to have a cleaner organization of the view

Hello Anna,

Thank you so much for sharing this way to get to know who clicked in our Mass Mailings.

I have 2 further questions:

1. Is it possible to also know what link the contact clicked on?

2. Do you know a way to automatically put the click information on the contact history/chatter?

Thank you in advance!

This is great, thankyou! As Samuel has asked, it would be great to know what link the contact click on.

Automatically adding the info to the chatter would be fantastic! :)

If you have Studio, you can know where the recipient clicked.

  1. Create a new menu with Existing Model and the Model being "Mailing Statistics":

  2. In the new menu "List recipients (2)", access Studio and had create a new many2one field e.g. "URL clicked on". In dev mode, go to the properties of the field and go to "More". Enter the view form of the field. Put it as "Readonly" and then in the Advanced Properties and add "links_click_ids.link_id" to the "Related Field".

  3. Then, you can create a new text field e.g. "Target URL". Go to "More" properties, put it as "Readonly" and then add the technical name of the field previously created, in this case "x_studio_url_clicked_on" plus ".url" -> "x_studio_url_clicked_on.url", to the "Related field" in Advanced Properties.

  4. With this you'll be able to know in which link the recipient clicked on:

As for putting it in the chatter, I didn't find any way to do it.
