Hello,

Have anyone managed to modify the bom components of a product, only for one order line?

Imagine an orderline for a pizza (product) where the BOM (ingredients) might be changed, ingredients added, changed or removed for each pizza's of the table (many order lines).
 (Nobody likes anchovy, except the guy who asked for a Quattro Formaggi where he wants 5 anchovies on top of the 3 added mushroom slices, but without the mozzarella from the BOM. Welcome to the real world of customers).

Hi Patrick: 

This seems to be a good use case for using Product variants. For example, the Pizza is the main product with the toppings defined as the product attributes. This would allow you to vary the price based on the attributes selected.

You can also define a single BoM for the Pizza where the components i.e. toppings are based on the selections in the order.
