Hi everybody,

After modifying with OpenOffice my file (Quotation/Order -sale.order), I use the function "send to the server". But, I would like to modify some things, directly in the .rml. Where is my .rml file after sending to the server?

Thank you

Hi akram, aharoen,

Thank you for your help. After sending one time with report designer, modify directly in the rml file don't works. So, to be able to modify the rml file directly in the folder addons/.../report, I deleted the bytea in the field report_sxw_content and report_rml_content (table ir_act_report_xml) and IT WORKS!

Thank you!

Another option:

https://www.openerp.com/apps/7.0/base_rml_edit/

This module allows users to modify the RML report directly from OpenERP>/i>

Report content of installed modul stored as a record of ir.act.report.xml model on field report_rml_content_data . When you modify report in this way, rml file stored in addons/any modules/report folder not change.

After send to server, if you want to write it to file, then you manually need to export it to rml by navigating through: Openoffice report designer

Export to rml

Once file is saved in respective module, you can make changes directly in this rml file. By default, send to server doesn't create rml file.
