Context
I sell food products. I have a box that has two ketchups, one mustard and one mayoneese. I sell them individually or in the box of 4. When I purchase the product it comes in the box. I can decide to break the box and sell them indivudually or keep them in the box and sell the box with a discount.
Challenge
How do I manage the inventory? I have the problem that these are three different products. If I create a product for one of them, the ketchup for example, and I configure the box, there are two in one box, but there are also the other products, mustard and mayo.
¿Any ideas on how to configure this product(s)?
Thanks Thoufeer. We will test your proposal. Do you know what happens when receiving the product from the vendor? What I mean is that I think that will solve when selling the product, but when I place a purchase order and receive the product, the kits have no effect. Correct?
You have to create box as non stock item. While creating PO, you can select Box and in GRN, components are added as stock. Similarly, if you want to sell the box, once you validate the delivery, component stock will reduce.
