Selling an item from Inventory

Question

Hi everyone.
Could someone please describe to correct procedure to sell an inventory item?
I created invoice for customer, but qty of that item didn't deduct.

By default in Odoo quantity changes after the delivery of the product.

Hi,
You can to use *sale_management* module for selling an item from inventory.If you validate the delivery then the quantity will change in the inventory.You can use odoo slides for tutorial

If you need to make the stock moves from the invoice then you can use the following custom module.

Normal flow is to create a Quotation, confirm it (so it becomes a Sales Order), then process the delivery.  If it's a stockable / storable item, inventory will be deducted.
Creating a sales invoice bypasses that flow.

Thanks to all for reply. Is it possible to create invoice in immediate transfer window? Immediate transfer is deducting the quantity.
