 Hello, @Aby

A 500 Internal Server Error with Storage Gateway indicates that something has not been configured properly. Typically this is due to network misconfiguration.

In order to get some additional information about the errors you're seeing with Storage Gateway, I'd like to have you run some tests. First, verify that the requirements are met and that you're not firewalling storage gateway using the following information:

http://docs.aws.amazon.com/storagegateway/latest/userguide/allow-firewall-gateway-access.html

Then, log in to your storage gateway console and run the network connectivity tests (Test #3). More instructions on this can be found here:

http://docs.aws.amazon.com/storagegateway/latest/userguide/enable-support-access-on-premises.html

. You won't need to set up a support channel as shown in those instructions.

or may be,

It sounds like there may be some network connectivity issue between your gateway and the anon-cp endpoint. Without connectivity to all four endpoints, you will not be able to complete the activation process.

Try creating and restoring your backup using the /web/database/manager interface.
