Hi, I have noticed, user experience when working in ODOO (V16,EE, On premise, Ubuntu) is far from performance we see on all Odoo videos. I have noticed, in Chrome/inspect page/ I can see super large "Waiting for Server response" which is the very first and longest waiting time - all normall website have this 20+50ms, our Odoo has 3000-8000ms (NGINx proxy set, workers alot, RAM alot, sitting on NVMe disks, ODOO and Postgre are installed on separate VMs, etc. Personally I think the "Waiting for Server response" is in some other tools called as "Time to first byte from Server" or "Initial Server response time". Does anybody have any experience with this and how to eliminate it? Thank you

Hi, I made few other tests, seems the POOR performance is not stable :
-one test shows server response in 120ms, another test 1minute later shows server response 3500ms, then another 500ms, then another 4100ms, etc etc.....Tests are performed on EXACTLY the same page, which is empty (with only 1text block in it) Tested this on 2 separate Virtual machines with different databases, each on different physical hardware...WHY I am still experiencing this? Anybody can at least point me out what could be the reason?
Thanks

I have noticed similar issues, even though I have followed all optimization guidelines etc.
We have a constant time to first response of around 180-200 ms.
Did you ever find a solution to reduce this?

Hio, I wish I had a first response 180-200ms...my was 3-8seconds!!!!
Anyway, alot helped :
1. My developer played with creating index in DB, that helped to reduce it to 30%, but still I could see that large waiting time is there
2. downgrade system to Comunity Edition fixed that issue from my point of view almost perfectly
Hope it helped
