Hi

As a news user I am trying to configure OpenERP. I am having a problem with images - I have tried various image formats (PNG, GIF, JPG) and various sizes and resolutions. All displayed images appear to be cropped or stretched or blurred in ways I cannot predict or correct! I have not managed to find the optimal formats for: a) (Own) Company Logo (Top left display is stretched & blurred) b) Customer Company Logo (Kanban view) c) Contact Photo d) HR Photos and Supplier logos look OK!

Please can someone indicate where the correct format details can be found or describe them here?

Thanks BB

Additionally i see that svg images are unsupported. Is there a way to use @2x retina images ?

are you trying to show the full image without crop or what?

i'm searching for the best way to use an high res company logo

For the company logo, save the OpenERP one and double the width and height.

I think it is 180x46.

Double that works fine on screen as well as in printed and digital PDF's.

PNG gives the best results.

I have a very similar issue, not for my logo, but anything photo (including the standard ones are blurred) I installed odoo on ubuntu 12.14 on digital ocean droplet(vpn-server), I also wonder why uploaded images do not appear in my media library there. Anyhow, know reason for blurring photos would be great help.
