Hi all !

A single physical retail (e.g.: a concept store),

needs one single POS interface for the physical store (with one single Warehouse),

BUT needs to offer the different product categories on the Web by different websites (one different website for each category).

Let's say one warehouse for jewellery, one for leather, one for pens... Important: one ecommerce  (e.g. jewellery) does not show the products of the others  and vice versa.

Kindly ASK:

Is it possible to config Odoo 18 to manage at the same time:

  • one single POS
  • with three _different_ websites

all working on the same warehouse database (Odoo installation) ?

Yes, Odoo allows you to manage multiple eCommerce websites within a single Odoo installation (multi-website feature).

Here’s how it works:

  1. Activate Multi-Website Support
    • Go to Website → Configuration → Settings
    • Enable "Multi-Website"
  2. Create Additional Websites
    • Navigate to Website → Configuration → Websites
    • Click "Create" and configure each site with its own domain, theme, products, and payment methods.
  3. Assign Products/Pages per Website
    • Products, blogs, and content can be restricted to specific websites using the “Website” field in their settings.
  4. Separate Cart, Language, and Checkout Flow
    • Each site can have independent customer experience, pricing, and payment flows.

Notes:

  • This is available in Odoo Enterprise.
  • Each website can be tied to its own company if you're using multi-company mode.

At Wan Buffer Services, we help businesses set up and manage multi-eCommerce environments in Odoo, including domain mapping, design, and integrations. Let us know if you’d like help setting up your multi-site configuration.
