Hi

For some reason the automatic PO are not being generated after a product reaches the Minimum Quantity configured on the Reordering rules of the product template. Have checked and all seems to be correcto, so I am running out of ideas...

- Product route is set to 'BUY' on the Inventory Tab of the Product template

- Reordering Minimum Quantity, Maximum are set.

- Vendor Price, quantity, dates are all set.

I have tried creating a new 'test product', create a test purchase to get the on hand stock below the minimum and then run the scheduler manually and nothing happens...

Any idea what could be missing would be greatly appreciated...

Hi Deerom, Indeed the reordering rules are set as the post mentions. We have set minimum quantity, maximum quantity, multiple (Set to 1) and the rest of parameters... I think it is a bug.

There could be many things wrong, but something that often catches me out is that Odoo add the quantity to an existing RFQ for the same vendor.

Here's how to stop that happening: https://odootricks.tips/using-routes-and-rules/#separate

Thanks Chris, your link helped me a lot, however this is not our case. We discovered that it is an issue created by a custom module we developed. Odoo works great, but our module is no allowing the scheduler to run properly. We are on it.

Thanks again. --Felipe

Hi Felipe,

In order to create purchase order based on stock levels we use reordering rule.So make sure that configuration of Reordering Rule in Odoo is done correctly. different documentations are available for  this.
Please have a look in to this Reordering Rule In Odoo
