Hi everyone,

I hope that you can give me a hint how to fix this issue:

I've got a sales order where the quantity of 5 is ordered. There are 3 items on stock and (as far as I was able to reproduce it) no other open sales orders.

Furthermore, I have a Purchase Order with this item which contains the quantity of 6 which will be available soon...

When I hit the "Check availability" Button on the OUT-Picking process, the 3 items are not reserved for this Picking.

Is this a configuration issue? Do you have any idea why the this behaviour occurs?

Sorry but your screenshot does not tell anything. To check: Do you use Make to Order process? Do you use variants? Are there reordering rules? What about locations and routes?

Hi Horst:

Check Availability performs a check against the quantity that is in hand (physically available). In your case, the Receipt against the PO has not been processed. So the quantity on hand is still 3. The PO quantity of 6 will get added to the quantity on hand only after you process the Stock Receipt for the PO. 

Also, make sure that the Receipt is fully processed through all the steps if you use multi-step Receipts.
