I need to reserve the quantity of a serial product with the sales order but without reserving the serial number, so I can pick any serial number to deliver at the time of picking. Is there any way to do this? 

Sales order and serial number should be brought together with the picking process, not earlier. But there should be a reservation for the quantity based on the sales order.

Hi Audrey,
we have no solution so far. There is the idea to work with a "placeholder", but no technical concept yet.
