What we struggle to understand is the purpose behind releasing a rushed new version every year, which results in additional costs for clients and consumes valuable time from partners on annual migration efforts.
Has there been any internal reflection on this policy?
If we look at the competition — Oracle, SAP, and Dynamics — their approach is quite different. They invest more time in consolidating meaningful improvements and only then release new versions that are mature and stable. This gives clients the opportunity to carefully assess whether a migration is truly worthwhile, rather than feeling pressured to keep up with an annual upgrade cycle.
This has been our policy for over a decade. I don't see it changing. Also we support the last 3 versions and up to the last 5 versions for SH Customers so there is no need to upgrade annually unless Users want access to the new features.

I'm particularly interested in the improvement "Reload data from backend".
Will this allow the POS to correctly reflect quantities already invoiced when loading a Sales Order?
Currently, if a Sales Order is partially invoiced via the POS, reloading it later shows the full quantities again, which can lead to overbilling.
Will this behavior be fixed in Odoo 19?
Hi, you can create a new database now available in odoo 19 and the upgrade is also scheduled for next month.
