Hi,
Just wondering if we can have two or more POS terminals accessing the same restaurants on the Odoo server?
And is it better to install the Odoo server on the LAN or in the cloud? If the Internet connection of the restaurant is malfunctioned after the POS terminal starts, will the POS continue to work?

You can create many POS terminals as you want in POS-> Settings-> Point of Sale
You need an internet connection to start the POS. Once it's started even if the internet connection drops, you can continue to use the POS sessions. When the internet comes, the orders will be synced to the server.

I guess the problem here is, they will not sync, do they? So if waiter 1 opens an order on table 1 and later waiter two passes to update order? What are his chances to complete that task, without asking everyone about who did start or where initial order was started?
