Additionally, we want to enable kitchen printing using our IP-based printer, but the challenge is that this printer is not HTTP compatible and does not natively integrate with Odoo. We are looking for any possible solution that can make this printer work with Odoo’s kitchen printing feature.
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

We have a fast-food POS where we generate an early bill, and later the customer makes the payment at another cashier’s POS. We want the ability to transfer this order to any other POS through a barcode. The idea is that a barcode should be printed on the early bill, and when that barcode is scanned on another POS, the same order should load there without removing or replacing the items already on the current POS screen; instead, the transferred items should simply be added to whatever is already present.
This should also work if we use save quotation module, meaning that loading a saved quotation must not clear the existing products on the POS interface.
Odoo’s kitchen printing requires:
IoT Box
Epson “ePOS Printing” models (HTTP / Web API printers)
These support HTTP print commands.
✔ Can work directly from browser POS
✔ No IoT Box needed
✔ Works with Odoo kitchen printing out of the box
