Manufacturing - Tools

Question

We are using Odoo v15, we manufacture parts and most parts are pressed using a Hydraulic press with a tool (a bit like a metal mould) We have multiple tools and multiple presses. We we create a work order or BOM we would like the tools to appear on these so we can get them ready with the blanks that need pressing. The tools are NOT disposable and have a life of many 1000's of presses how do we include this in our set up.
It seems really basic requirement of an engineering / manufacturing company

As far as I know, this is not included in standard Odoo EE. But an alternativ with a little development as an Idea:
Install the maintenance app. Define the tools as equipment.  With the studio app you can add the equipment as a Many to one field in the operation.  Then also add the field from the opreation  into the work order.  So far all this can be done with teh studio app. But to add this info to the tablet view for the work orders, it can not be done with the studio app. So you need some de

I would imput them on the bom as consumable products (inventory never taken into account), or you need odoo to calculate when it needs to be replaced by a new tool?
