When you activate Beverage Industry you get new fields to link a case of 24 and a single together.
I need this fuction but dont need the deposit function. In retail i want to link for example a box of paper with a ream of paper or a case of baked beans with a single bakebean. Is it possible to activate those fields on a normal database that it not link to beverage industry

There is no actual way to just 'activate' these fields. However, next to other details that should be irrelevant at the moment (such as defining a help tour), beverage_distributor doesn't do much more than
- specify a list of dependencies (a list of modules that will be installed along with this industry 'package') (https://github.com/odoo/industry/blob/18.0/beverage_distributor/__manifest__.py#L6)
- defines several defaults and dummy records
- defines several additional fields (https://github.com/odoo/industry/blob/18.0/beverage_distributor/data/ir_model_fields.xml)
Since you seem to be after these additional fields from the last point, you have several options. For example
- investigate on https://github.com/odoo/industry/tree/18.0/beverage_distributor, extract the functionality you actually need and put it into your own module
- reverse-engineer the additional fields from the product form using Odoo Studio and manually create them, again using Studio or with a custom module, in your database
- consider getting in touch with a partner to assist you with your specific requirements (https://www.odoo.com/partners), or
- consider a Success Pack from Odoo (https://www.odoo.com/de_DE/pricing-packs)
I usually do not recommend the use of Studio as it holds the potential of significantly increasing the cost of future upgrade (i.e. from Odoo 18 to Odoo 19). Would it be possible to suggest to odoo to add that option in the settings menu. In retail it is used a lot. And to explain to your people how to create difficult BOM is not an option. For now i will activate the beverage and delete the samples and just ignore the deposits.
