Hi,

does Odoo Ecommerce and Accounting support the handling of EU IOSS VAT regulations (i.e. export B2C sales from outside the EU to an EU based customer for orders below 150€ intrinsic value)? In that case the local VAT of the delivery country needs to be charged (on intrinsic value of goods plus shipping). If the intrinisc value is above 150€, no VAT will be charged by the seller.

Hi Jan,

Yes, Odoo Ecommerce and Accounting support the handling of EU IOSS VAT regulations for export B2C sales from outside the EU to an EU-based customer for orders below 150€ intrinsic value.

In Odoo, you can configure the EU VAT rules and tax rates according to the EU VAT regulations. You can also configure the tax rules based on the delivery country and set different tax rates for different countries.

Thx :-) The difficult bit is usually to to evaluate the intrinsic value of an order to be below 150EUR but then add VAT to the overall order value (incl. insurance, shipping, etc.), not many ecommerce solutions do that by default correctly.
