In order to manufacture tables we need 4 components, 3 of those we buy and 1 we manufacture, the table top. This table top also requires the previous manufacture of the wood panel.

In reality, the table top has to be manufactured before the table, but if I create an MO for the 200 Tables and then from that MO I generate the MO for the Table Top and Plan both MOs, Odoo plans the tables to be manufactured before the table tops.

By doing the same with the Wood Panel used for the Table top, Odoo plans its manufacturing as the very first MO, which is correct.

As you can see, the Table was planned to manufacture before the table top.

I know I can manually change start dates for each MO so that the secuence is correct and Plan again. But is it not supposed to plan correctly automatically?

Is there something missing so that Planning respects the secuence implied by the BoM?
