Replenishment should be triggered by "Reordering rules" or "negative forecasted quantities" but unfortunately this doesn't happen.
Or is there some configuration to do to make it work without the need of pull/push rules?

Thanks

hi,

does your product have defined vendors?

Hello,

Have you tried removing the manual trigger filter in the replenishment menu ?

If you have set up reordering rules and at least one supplier for your product, the reordering rules should be triggered.

Thank you Mindaugas for your comment! Vendor are set up for products with the Buy route as well as bill of materials for products with the Manufacturing route.

Thanks Julien, but that's not the issue either!

I figured out that the issue was related to lead times configurations and from v14 it is no longer possible to set Lead Times in the Reordering rules, I made some mistakes when setting up lead times.

I would like to share my notes that helped to solve the question!

3 important concepts for planning with Odoo:

1. Leadtimes:
Defined on product and on process +security lead times: set the expected times needed to receive, deliver or manufacture products and plan operations

2. Procurement methods:
- MTO: actual demand, direct link from Sales→Procurement
- Reordering Rules & Replenishment: actual demand, triggered by minimum quantities rules
- MPS: forecasted demand for long term planning

3. Two Planning phases
- Long term: based on lead-times
MPS: Works backwards -> date which products are needed → what need to be done → define scheduled dates and deadlines (indication of priorities)
- Short term (Work Orders): Fine-tuning based on actual situation (production planning)
Works forwards: more accurate planning based on “live” conditions
