Is there an option to add custom fields to every instance of the manufactured products (e.g. firmware version)? It is supposed to be traceable (like a serial number) and updateable even after manufacturing.
So far the best I could do was to add custom fields to the products themselves, but not to the instances of them.

Thank you for your answer. Another solution I found is to add extra fields to the serial number record.
"Every instance" = quant. Quant is the smallest identification in the warehouse.
Use serial number or lot number, and add a field to the quant record, with your information.
Serial number: Each piece =1 quant.
Lot number: A quantity of pieces = 1 quant.
