We are trying to set-up an IoT box in production and get the POS receipt printer to print properly. The printer is connected and printing but it prints unreadable information in a format that does not resemble the POS receipt layout.

We tried to print using the Windows print preview as well but while it printed the receipt in the correct format almost half of the width of the paper is not used, it's very narrow, off centered and the font is small.

We need a solution so that that the POS receipt can be printed correctly using the IoT Box.

Printer model is Model : MCP31C BK US m-CPrint3

Hello  O'Nelia,

Odoo also supports ePOS printers for printing Point of Sale (PoS) receipts, and this does not require an IoTBox. You need to use a printer that supports the ePOS protocol. You can find more information here:  https://www.odoo.com/documentation/18.0/applications/sales/point_of_sale/configuration/epos_printers.html.

Alternatively, you can explore third-party apps. I recommend trying Omni Print, which also works without the need for an IoTBox.
