We support for biometric integration with Odoo. Our Odoo modules are available for versions 13, 14, 15, and 16, and can be easily downloaded from the Odoo App Store. In case you are using a different version of Odoo, we are more than willing to customize the module to fit your specific requirements.
To seamlessly integrate biometric attendance with Odoo, you can follow these steps:
1. Visit the Odoo App Store and download the Odoo Biometric Attendance module.
2. Install the module within your Odoo application.
3. Configure the module settings by providing the Service Tag ID and Auth Token. You can obtain these credentials from the "Manage" section of the biometric device on the Device Management page of your Cams portal. Please ensure that you have a valid API activated to access this section.
4. The module utilizes the employee check-in module in Odoo to handle attendance data. It automatically pushes the punch logs from the biometric device to your Odoo server.
5. Once the attendance data is synchronized, you can generate reports and perform further analysis directly within the Odoo application.
It is important to note that the Odoo Biometric Attendance module primarily focuses on data synchronization between the biometric device and Odoo. Report generation and other features within Odoo are handled by the standard functionality of the application.
If you are using a ZkTeco device, we recommend completing the compatibility check Cams develoer bot to ensure that your device supports the required API. Alternatively, you can choose any device listed at cams product page, as they are all compatible with this module, provided that the device has a valid API activated.
