I want to change the button text on our quotation emails from 'Sign & Pay Online' to 'View Quote', to make it easier for customers to understand. How can I edit the button text shown on an in-built email template.

Thank you Brian, one last question sorry, but did you add it as a new row or edited an existing row? I exported the Sales App via CSV format and set the language to export as AU. My res_id coloumn has different values to your screenshot, your res_id has numbers but my one has text.

Hi Brian, I am on V14 not V15, I don't think that row exists for me. I tried adding a new line and its still the same.

you need to select all to make it easy to find, after editing and then delete unnecessary lines

I have the same issue. I can't find information about this anywhere in Odoo's documentation. It's not the button on the quotation that we need to change, but the button on the email template.
It is easier for a customer to click on a "View Quotation" than on a "Pay Quotation" button.
I have requested support on this on various occasions, but do not get any solid answers.
The view for the template/ email is 'Mail: Pay Now mail notification template'
Setting > Technical > Views (while on developer mode)
In V14 the view 'Quotation: Sign and Pay mail notification template' has the button labels which is based on the state of the order.
Sorry Jaideep but I do not have enough coding experience to edit this section. I tried making some changes but nothing is working.
