How Inventory Receipt Shortfall Qty odoo 17 working?

Question

Hello

How to create inventory receipt shortfall from inventory--> Receipt module of odoo 17

Example:
Purchase order created of SKU 632145 = 100 Qty but at the time of inventory Receipt only 90 Qty received

so ideally Need to create inventory receipt shortfall against purchase order no of 100 Qty

SO how DO I create shortfall from the inventory--> Receipt page

Hi
You can Create a backorder for that 10 qty, which will create a new receipt with the remaining 10 qty .So from the Same PO there will be 2 receipts one with 90 and the other remaining 10 qty
