Hello,

When an order is placed in the shop, it generates a quotation.

Is there a way for the admin to get a notification that an order has been placed? Maybe an email?

Thank you for this Ermin. I have gone through. I took similar steps to get this working, using base model Sales Order (there is no quotation base model, so I was guessing SO would work for this).

Unfortunately it's not working - no mails yet on creation of new quote.

Would you have an idea how I can approach? Thank you!

Thanks a lot Niyas. I looked at it.

Created a server action with Base Model "Sales Order" (as I did not find a quotation base model), Action as "Send Email", Email Template as " Sales Order - Send by Email".

Then created an Automated Action with Related Document "Sales Order", to run "On Creation", Set Responsible - Administrator, Server action to run (the above server action created).

I tested by creating a quote but no mail came to the admin. Please is there something improper in the configuration?

Screens of the automated action and server action are here: http://bit.ly/2t1q55b

Thanks.
