Latest update from Odoo is that the Google Sheets integration will remain available in v15 (and earlier versions), but will not be in v16. The Google Drive integration will stop working in October with the new Google API.

Our teams didn't have enough time to refactor the Google Spreadsheet and Google Drive modules before they are planned to stop working - and it is a big job - so it was decided to assist Users to disable them (released versions) and remove them (version v16) to avoid a poor User experience.
While I have not tested what will happen on October 3rd, because my time machine is not working, the Task design intended to show this message once Google deprecates the features that we built into Odoo:
Links to pages on any shared URL accessible storage can be added into Description and Internal Notes as well as standard or custom fields on any Document types (HTML ideally, but not required).
For those more technically skilled, there is a URL widget that makes them clickable when stored in fields that are not designed for HTML.
There is also Odoo Spreadsheets and the Odoo Documents App, which provide more functionality than just storing the web URL.
Thanks for the response, Ray, but there's a world of difference between Google Sheets and the Odoo spreadsheet. Downloading data to Google Sheets is a very useful feature and I believe it's used quite extensively.
What about using google drive as backend cloud storage only to store odoo documents attachment only. Will this also impact?
Odoo actually started to create a new Oauth2 workflow, but they got stuck with the need to specify the domain in the Authorized JavaScript origins / Authorized redirect URIs which of course changes with each database. But if someone is willing to set up their own Google Cloud project and add their own Authorized JavaScript origins / Authorized redirect URIs, that could work.
