When you create a new operation type inventory you have to set the name and a reference sequence.
If you need to have a new reference sequence, you will have the name, the sequence size and step required to be filled in.
Pay attention if you want to create multiple sequence.
Indeed this can happen that you create multiple new sequence due to new operations types.
- Create multiple sequences used on operations type
- Don't put any prefix or suffix on those new sequences
- Create a transfer in each operations type
- At the moment of saving a transfer for the second operation type, you will see this error message: Reference must be unique per company!
- This is due the fact that you have the same prefix and suffix. Indeed you cannot have two records with the same sequence otherwise you cannot make the difference between the moves.
-> The solution: Just remember to put a prefix or suffix when you create a new sequence
