Sorry for asking this- i cant comment on my own posts as i need more karma, and the faq doesnt help on how to get more :(

ODOO15-

So anyway let me explain my problem again (its multicurrecy, vendor price and quote related)

We purchase equipment locally and from abroad, our company uses USD as our main currency.

Multi currency is enabled, the exchange rates are updated :

USD=1

ZAR=0.14

ZMK =1.7

(thats south african rand and zambian kwacha- we are located in zambia)

I can make prices for Vendors in south africa and give the product a ZAR price.

Now comes the problem part - how do i use that price? as in when i make a quote and i use my public or whatever price list it will show product cost as $0-

There is a exception :

if i make a price list referencing the vendor price in ZAR but then odoo sets the ZAR=USD so on the quote instead of using the exchange rates the price is equal so somehing that should be $1 or ZAR14 is now $14!!

So that means we need to manually convert the ZAR price to USD then put it in the product cost- which works for the quotes but that means every time the exchange rate changes we need to manually redo 100s of products pricing instead of just changing the exchange rate.

Ive spent a couple of days now struggling and googling and i cannot find anything that works or thats for Odoo 15.

I really hope this is clear enough and any help will be very very appreciated
