Hello,

I have a customer who sells classic items as well as items that require installation.

When he confirms a sale order from the Sales module of a classic order, a delivery order is generated in the type of operation "Delivery".

Today, he wants to enter an order with only items that require installation and that generates a delivery order in a new operation that could be called "Installation" for example.

The fact is that I can't distinguish between the two when confirming the order.

Do you know how to proceed in this case please?

Please note that the customer has Studio if that helps.

Bonjour,

Hi,
you could use this way:
First Option:
1. Go to Inventory App -> Configuration -> Operation types
Note: you have to activate multi-step route feature in Inventory Settings
2. create new operation type "Deliver Installation"

Note: you have to make sure of source warehouse location for your customer

3. Go to Inventory app -> Configuration -> routes -> Create

3.1. Route:
Note : Make sure to check "Sales order lines"

3.2. Rule:

4. Create Sales order:
Note: click the right "3 dots" to show routes field
select Deliver Installation route for required product

5. after confirming the order it wiil create 2 delivery orders
Note : you have to set the right source location for both operations

The second option will be to automate this process by applying this route to product categories
1. create two product categories "Classic" , "Install"
2. set created route on previos steps number "2,3", without checking "Sales order Lines" on product category "Install", check "product categories" instead.

Note : you have to create the required "installation items" under this product category.

3. Create sales order -> after confirming it will create two Delivery
Note: we did not set any route on sales order lines in this option

in your case  you can choose any of those two options based on business need

hope it will help.
