about budgets in odoo, does oddo support budget extension, even if the time period passed in the budgetary position is still valid

for example when I create two budgets with the same analytic account and budgetary position on the same project when creating a vendor bill, the updated amount is to be set in both budgets, even tho it is not right

what is the logic of updating the two budgets with the same amount?

and can I ever extend my budget for the same budgetary position and analytic account without customization, or it is not allowed in odoo?

Also, if I made the planned amount editable after validation for some users as a privilege, will this affect any reports or values in a project or financially?
