If I were running the community 11 version, could i pay for some of the additional enterprise modules and would it work seamlessly with community portion?    Or is it all or nothing, one or the other?   

example:  Community version comes with MRP module functions,  can i add the paid enterprise MRP II and quality modules and would they work together with the community MRP function module?

Hi,

The Odoo enterprise is set of modules/addons which is working in top the odoo community edition.

If you buy the odoo enterprise , you will get these set of modules and you can install and use the required modules.

If you need only certain functionalities in community edition, you can also check the modules in odoo apps store providing similar features.

Hello Steven,

Yes you can run both the version in the same database. best example is odoo-runbot .  Where you can see both the version in same database.

so in short you can do a contract of require enterprise module rest you can use community one.

@Aktive, so it is possible to purchase the account enterprise app and use the community version of remaining required apps (for instance, sales, mrp, etc?
