In Odoo CE15 when I create a sales order with a consumable product that's set to be manufactured the MO isn't created automatically, does this only work for storable products?

Hello,

For the first time tou have to approve from inventory >> replenishment. You have to click on the automated orders so odoo generates MO when SO created for that product.

thanks, my consumables that I setup as "manufacture" don't appear in replenishment

hello,

you can follow these steps:

  1. unarchive Replenish on order (MTO) route in inventory.
  2. create your consumable product, then check both "manufacturing" and "MTO" routes on product template. also set the BoM for the product.
  3. create sale order and confirm, it will show you a smart button "Manufacturing" that related to this sale order.
