In Odoo CE15 when I create a sales order with a consumable product that's set to be manufactured the MO isn't created automatically, does this only work for storable products?

Hello,
For the first time tou have to approve from inventory >> replenishment. You have to click on the automated orders so odoo generates MO when SO created for that product.

thanks, my consumables that I setup as "manufacture" don't appear in replenishment
hello,
you can follow these steps:
- unarchive Replenish on order (MTO) route in inventory.
- create your consumable product, then check both "manufacturing" and "MTO" routes on product template. also set the BoM for the product.
- create sale order and confirm, it will show you a smart button "Manufacturing" that related to this sale order.
