I have tried creating a server action, but this requires the portal user to have read access on res.partner...

I have same issue, but it seems no one is answering this question. A claim responsible cannot be assigned to a customer, that is just wrong. It should be assigned to a user by default. Any help on this will be appreciated. How does a portal user assign a user as responsible of a claim, or better how do we set a default use to a customer for claim responsible?
