I have searched and have not found this answer. I have several products that inventory by each but purchase by a package, with different amounts per package. UOM seems to be a global field so I can't set the ratio for package to each at 5 for 1 product and 10 for another product without crating a separate entry in the UOM table for the ratio. If I do that and call them all each there is no way to tell the difference when adding them to a product. Is there another way to do this? This is not for the same product it is for different products.

Hello,
try to use product packaging feature like this
1. activate "product packaging" feature in Inventory settings.
2. Go to products -> inventory tab -> define your packages
3. try to create PO:
Note: we use the same product with different packaging
Hope this will help.
OK Thank you. It is as I understood it, I have to create packaging UOM's for each one separately in the global configuration.
