Odoo SH get name department instead of display name

Question

I use odoo sh.
In form of employee i want to choose department. But this get display name. oh no, i want to get name - only name.
help me, display name so too long

Hi,
You can inherit the hr.department model in your custom module and set the _rec_name of the model as name field. Currently it is set as _complete_name

class Department(models.Model):
_inherit = "hr.department"
_rec_name = 'name'
