Website contacts spam access - Odoo16

Question

Since I activated my site online, among the visitors I notice the presence of spam contacts with random names and emails accessing my site; this means that they are created as normal contacts and is very annoying.
I also tried to insert the recaptcha but the situation didn't resolve itself.

Even though this will not solved in v16, it has been addressed in higher versions by:   https://github.com/odoo/odoo/commit/37fb21911ef33885a3dae309158a359ed1a604e0 [1]
How about enabling the verification of email on signup by using this app?  https://odoo-community.org/shop/verify-email-at-signup-545 [2]
