I have a user with Manager privileges to the project module. When the user tries to create a new project this error appears:
Access Denied
The requested operation cannot be completed due to security restrictions. Please contact your system administrator.
(Document type: Project, Operation: read)
What is the cause of this / how can I fix it?
Have you check the project manager access rights? Maybe you can go to the setting || groups , then search for project.
look for the project/manager, and check the access rights tab?

Hi, same problem for me, but access rights seems to be good. Problem occurs only when "Employees Only" or "Followers Only" is selected in the combo box. No problem when "All users" is selected. Any idea ?

It seems like a Bug to me. I recall discovering this before. If I Create the Project for "All Users" I can Save it. I cannot for "Employees Only" on first save. However, I can immediately update it to "Employees Only" and it will Save. At least a work around if I can remember the steps.
