I am trying to process payslips. When you try to create entries after payslip generation, i am getting the error "The Expense Journal "Salaries" has not properly configured the default Account!"

What do i need to configure for the payroll entries to reflect on the accounts side?

I’m having the same problem (The Expense Journal "Salaries" has not properly configured the default Account!)

Any news about this error?

The only way that I have been able to get this to work is to set the Type of the Salaries journal to Purchase and to set the Default Expense Account there.

Accounting app, Accounting Menu, Journals, Create a new Account in Default Account
