I am looking at installing a new Odoo instance for a site. I remember with previous versions the advice was to rather install only on a linux server in production environments and only use windows server for testing. Is this still the case with Odoo 9?
Are there any drawbacks installing version 9 on Windows servers? Would anyone advise against this or has anyone had a bad experience in trying version 9 on a windows server?
If you want to be backed up by the broadest experience in the community and like to rely on the advantages of the probably most popular and best documented installation environment, then you should use Ubuntu LTS (now 16.04).
