I guess this feature was introduced in v14 but then was removed. Maybe it's configurable? If removed can someone tell me the reason of it?

Hi,
The option is still available in the general settings of the PoS app in V15. (not configurable per shop but one setting for all your shops).
Anyway, it is not recommended since, if turning offline while using the front-end PoS, stock management problems might happen.
