When I try to start the service I am getting this error.
Job for postgresql@10-main.service failed because the service did not take the steps required by its unit configuration. See "systemctl status postgresql@10-main.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
Could anyone help to resolve this error?

Could be misconfiguration.
Did you edit/change some default config files ?
Did it work before?
Maybe you don't have enough access to run it on your current account.
Try reinstall or replace if you have backup of what you've edited.
