Hello!

I Have Odoo v 10.0 installed using the guide and script from http://www.odoo.yenthevg.com/installing-odoo-10-ubuntu-16-04/ on my SoftLayer account  Virtual Server running Ubuntu16.04-64 LAMP for VSI. I have setup Point of sale and I am using TM-T88V Receipt print connected to my computer running Windows 10 x64 and Linux Mint 18 connected through usb. I followed the official POSBOXLESS Guide http://www.odoo.com/documentation/user/10.0/point_of_sale/overview/setup.html. Do I need to install any additional  drivers in windows and Linux? Do I also need to install the ESC/POS Hardware Driver module in Odoo?

Is there any other guide I could use.

If you are running the POSBOXLESS instance of odoo in linux and the TM-T88V Receipt print connected to it via USB then you do not need additional drivers as the proxy/gateway odoo instance has builtin drivers for such printers.

No you do not need to install this module in your regular instance of Odoo from where you start the POS session, but this module should be loaded in the proxy/gateway odoo instance.

Is there any other guide I could use.

I don't have any guide but you need to updated the configuration of the POS so that it knows the IP address of proxy/gateway odoo system to send requests to.
