I'm using Odoo 15 and I'm trying to understand whether it is possible to use multi-routes outside of purchasing and sales. 

There is an obvious way to enable the creation of multiple moves for sale and purchase orders. But is it possible to create additional movements from pickings? I have configured a route in which one type of operation triggers the second to update inventory, but when I create a new stock picking and want the route to be applied to it, another stock picking is not created automatically. Is this generally possible without the use of sales and purchasing?
