I am uploading a module at market place but my documentation is not so attractive as compared to other. I don't know how to include css and javascript in index.html in module. Is there any way to include javascript or css in index.html to beautify my documentation.

Index file which is in : Module_name/static/description/index.html

Any answer any guidance ?

What you can do is that, download a module from odoo store which is having a good documentation/index file. Go through the index file and see how it is done and update your index file accordingly

Hi Adam:

You have 2 options:

  1. Include the css and js "inline" in the html file using the <style>...</style> and <script>....</script> tags, OR

  2. Store them in a .css and .js file(s) in the same directory and link to these files in your html file using  <link rel="stylesheet" ... and <script type="text/javascript" tags.

The second option is cleaner from a maintenance point of view.

You may find the following resources useful if you are new to this.

Stylesheet

Script

I did it but nothing happened.

Restart odoo for the changes to get picked up and then upgrade the module.
