How to add a new field

Hello please i want to know how we can add a new field in quotation

Hi,
First add the new field in the python file.
'name': fields.char('LV Side', size=64),
Add the new field in xml file for view.
<field name="name"/>
The field may be inside the form, tree,and search views.
