Hi,
There are a few options for creating a test database where you can work for free.
Odoo Online Free Trial: You can start a free trial on Odoo.com. This gives you access to a fully functional Odoo database for a limited time, which is perfect for testing and development.
Odoo Community Edition: You can download and install the Odoo Community edition on your own server or hosting environment. This is a free, open-source version of Odoo with a wide range of apps. You can use it indefinitely for testing and development purposes.
Odoo Online "One App Free" Plan: You can use the "one app free" plan, which is entirely free for any number of users. It is limited to a single Odoo App, chosen at the creation of the database.
Since you're planning significant changes to your website layout and e-commerce setup, using either the Odoo Online free trial or the Odoo Community Edition would be suitable option. This allows you to experiment and make changes without affecting your live database.
Hope it helps
Do you have an Odoo Enterprise subscription? If so, which one - Odoo Online (with or without 'Custom'?) or Odoo.sh?
Can you do it locally with a Community setup? https://www.odoo.com/page/download
