I created a database in v17.4 for testing two days ago and noticed that in the inventory module the "storable" option no longer appears in the product type, there are only two options: "Goods" and "Services". In addition, my DB is installed in Spanish, so Goods should simply be translated as Products, but it appears as "Consumables", which is confusing because in v17 and earlier that term referred to products that did not have traceability in their quantities.

However, there is now a new checkbox that allows you to mark the product as "trackable by quantity", I guess that is what gives it the "storable" property that could be selected as a product type previously.

I don't know if this is a translation problem or a programming error, the truth is that I have not performed tests to verify if activating this checkbox the product actually generates changes in the inventory accounting entries. What I can tell you is that the term is confusing and I hope that the Odoo programmers can realize this if other people also join this request.
